This tape in manufactured by 3M and has filaments running in both directions. It can be used to
attach ailerons, to cover entire wings, or as a quick field repair to a damaged bird. When using over
raw foam, a light spray of 3M77 spray glue on the foam will increase adhesion. Test your spray glue
on scrap foam before using it on the wing core. Some spray glues will attack foam. This can
sometimes be avoided by using a very light mist, held as far from the foam as possible. This allows
the solvents which attack the foam to evaporate. It works great to strengthen the riser where it
contacts the bat.
